J.E. Monahan Metals, Inc. was founded in April 1989 by Joseph Monahan. Joe Monahan and his son Daniel Monahan started work in Joe's 672 sq. ft. garage in 1989. Within three years time, they built two additions on the garage for a total of 2,700 sq. ft. By 1997 Monahan Metals had grown out of the garage into a 10,000 sq. ft. facility on Queensbury Avenue. In 2002 Monahan Metals was sold to Joe's son Dan and cousin Ricky Monahan. Finally in 2003 Monahan Metals was able to fully utilize the 25,000 sq. ft. facility where they are currently located on Queensbury Avenue. At the end of 2019 and after more then 30 years in the industry, Ricky Monahan retired and sold his part of the business to his children. Josh and Kacie Monahan are proud and honored to carry on their fathers legacy and look forward to what the future may hold.

J.E. Monahan Fabrications, LLC. was founded in November 1997 by Joseph Monahan, Harold Smith and Walter Smith. With a small team consisting of two people J.E. Monahan Fabrications, LLC. started business in their current location on Queensbury Avenue. In 2016 J.E. Monahan Fabrications, LLC. was sold to Russell Smith, the son of Walter Smith and Daniel Monahan, the son of Joseph Monahan. Today, J.E. Monahan Fabrications, LLC. employs approximately ten employees.

Did you know that J.E. Monahan Companies has a 50kW Solar System? We were able to cut our energy consumption in half! To help out a little more, every light within the building was upgraded to energy efficient lighting. J.E. Monahan Companies continually strive to reduce their carbon footprint by updating equipment and finding new ways to reduce waste.

J.E. Monahan Companies pride themselves on their highly qualified, dedicated, loyal team. Many of our employees have 30-45 years of experience within the industry, not to mention most employees have been loyal to us for almost twenty years! Without our stunning team we wouldn't be where we are today.
